Just read Alone On The Water

Because everyone keeps raving about how such a good fic it is.

……. I’m gonna get burned in the fiery flames of Sherlokians for this, but -deep breath- I didn’t like it!

It’s just……. Bad? No, that not the right word.

It overcompensates, I think.

I mean, it’s just so forceful and redunant.

I’m not saying it isn’t sad, it is. But it’s like watching/reading a Nicholas Sparks movie/book.

I get it, they’ve hard a life and will die. Poor them. But honestly, it just felt so forced most of them time. Like the author wasn’t sure what to write.

That and it’s in first person, which I have a serious disdain for.

I only like a very select few books that are written in first person. I have yet to like any fanfic written in first person. They’re always so terrible and…… poorly worded? They either use words they don’t know the meaning of, use over complicated words, or just get too wordy.
